Sunkissed: 90 Seconds to Beach, Firepit + Privacy Fenced Yard, Gardens
Size –
3 Bedrooms • 2 Bathrooms 2 Baths • Sleeps 4-8With thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces, dwarf orchard trees and edible gardens, quality linens, a well-stocked kitchen, and coastal cottage décor, Sunkissed was designed for those looking to vacation in comfort. It is a place where you can spread out while exploring the Washington Coast or Olympic National Park, whether it's for a long weekend or a multi-week trip.
The main floor is the gathering spot for your group, with a large living room boasting a 60" Smart TV with cable and streaming services. Memory foam cushions bolster the couch and loveseat while a chaise lounge provides a relaxing spot to catch a movie or gaze out at the surrounding gardens. An electric fireplace with quartzite façade and travertine mantle provides ambiance while keeping the winter chill at bay.
All you need to prepare meals in our kitchen are ingredients and your skill. We have a wide assortment of cooking utensils and bakeware. A durable 11-piece stainless steel cookware set ensures a professional experience. We provide place settings for eight as well as wine and cocktail glasses. Supplied staples include flour, sugar, coffee beans, vegetable and olive oil, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch, vanilla extract, saran wrap, tin foil, and a wide assortment of spices. Appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, hand mixer, blender, toaster, coffee and espresso makers, and coffee grinder. For last minute grocery runs, You and I market in downtown Pacific Beach and the Fresh Foods Market in neighboring Seabrook are local options.
The dining room has seating for six at the table and additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. A small cabinet houses board games and reading materials to help wait out summer fog or winter storms. There is even a table-level highchair for our youngest guests.
Alternatively, your group could dine at one of several outdoor spaces, including 2 large ocean-facing decks. The upper deck boasts 160 deg interrupted views of the Pacific between houses (see photos), sectional seating for six, and a deck box to store a blanket or good book. The lower deck hosts a bistro set surrounded by a container herb garden soaked during summer with the perfume of lavender. A fully privacy-fenced back yard contains a patio with Adirondack chairs and a propane-fueled stone fire pit to help warm those chilly coastal evenings through shimmering copper fire-glass. Surrounding the patio are nectarines, apples, blueberries, raspberries, seaberries, cherries, huckleberries, cranberries, and strawberries. Containers of flowers bloom from February through November. Nighttime lighting bestows a festive atmosphere through the evening while dimming later at night to allow for stargazing in an area remote from city lights.
Three bedrooms with disparate features allow you to seek out your Goldilocks zone. The main floor bedroom boasts garden views and a firm king mattress, overstuffed firm pillows, expansive drawer space, luggage racks, walk-in closet, a 40" Smart TV with cable, Pack-n-Play, baby bath, and changing table. The upstairs front bedroom faces the ocean and contains a desk with monitor where you can work remotely. A queen soft memory foam mattress, armoire, large dresser, 30" Smart TV with cable, and vaulted ceiling allow you to spread out in comfort. The upper rear bedroom has a balcony which overlooks the gardens, a queen medium-firm pillowtop mattress, armoire, 22" Smart TV with cable, and Eurolounger, which serves as a loveseat or folds down into a double bed for larger groups. All linens are high-thread count long-staple cotton, with cotton blankets and fluffy duvets to ensure a restful sleep.
There is a bathroom on each level with tub/shower combo, dual hand showers, glass doors, and white plush cotton towels to create a spa-like atmosphere. We provide basic toiletries and hair dryers in addition to an ample supply of Kleenex, toilet paper, and paper towels to get you through your stay. Overstock of each item can be located in the downstairs linen closet where we also supply beach towels, cleaning towels, and waterproof dog blankets.
A main floor laundry room contains a steam washer, steam dryer, iron, and associated laundry supplies.
Sunkissed is obviously a play on the color of the home, but it perfectly describes a Pacific Northwest summer -- including here on the coast. There is another shade named for the region: Grays Harbor. A deep, sulky blue-grey, it mirrors the color of the Pacific during our fierce late autumn storms. Whether your plans include strolling down the peaceful summer shoreline or watching violent winter waves redefine the coastline, we welcome you into our home to share in the beauty of the Washington Coast.

-- Check-out is a snap: close the blinds, turn off the lights, lock the door, and have safe travels back home.
-- As with any hotel, this home is equipped with exterior security cameras covering all outdoor areas. Rental platform-recommended interior decibel meters help to alert guests if they are making too much noise during overnight hours (Minut Sensors: no audio, no video). Cigarette smoke detectors maintain a smoke-free interior. These tools improve the experience for the vast majority of our guests by maintaining good neighbor relations and keeping the home smoke-free: happy neighbors = happy guests = great vacations.
-- Fully licensed through the State and permitted through the County.
-- Pacific Beach is an isolated village with a population just over 200. Coupled with the adjacent upscale development of Seabrook, there are a scattering of diverse restaurants, art galleries, and sports rentals catering to a wide array of tastes and budgets. The expansive, undeveloped beaches are the main draw, however, as well as proximity to the southwestern rainforests and coastlines of Olympic Nat'l Park.

About the Owner
We are a family-owned company prioritizing quality over quantity. Our properties are seasonally-renovated and well-maintained to provide a quality guest experience at competitive pricing. This fosters longer stays and satisfied guests who return season after season. Consistent with our focus on value, our pricing is inclusive -- because shouldn't a vacation rental come with enough toiletries to last the entire reservation? Shouldn't it be stocked with sufficiently diverse cooking staples to prevent unanticipated grocery runs? And with us check-out is easy -- just turn off the lights and lock the doors. We'll take care of the rest -- after all, our guests are on vacation and their comfort is our top priority.
